With almost a decade of experience, Hannah brings a raft of industry insight to all accounts. Working at a senior level to help clients identify areas of growth, opportunities for new product development, supporting the route to market and driving consumer demand.

She guides a six strong client services team. Numbers driven, she sets high targets and guides her team to deliver measurable results day in day out.

Media Director

Graeme brings more than two decades of experience in the toughest newsrooms in Britain to shape our clients’ media strategies.

With plenty of ink under his fingers, Graeme is perfectly placed to advise clients on all aspects of modern communications, campaign strategy, training spokespeople and crisis management.

Years spent on Fleet Street and in the regions with the Daily Mail, Sun, Manchester Evening News and Scottish Daily Record have given this ex-journalist the experience, and insight to build campaigns that get people talking. Or just to provide a killer pun when required.

Head of News

Sam joined Democracy from the Manchester Evening News, where he was News Editor of the Reach plc organisation. Previously, he worked for the Sun and Daily Star as a news reporter.

He now leads across the agency’s news output, story creation, newsjacking and media outreach for our clients.

Head of Talent

Beth joined the team in 2020 (although she’d been an external consultant for years!). She now looks after finding and developing the best talent in the business.
The people who work at Democracy are the most valuable assets that the agency has and Beth leads the charge on creating a work environment that’s safe, respectful and supportive.

Under her watchful eye, Democracy has now formalised its training programme at all levels to ensure that there is a continual professional development plan for every team member.

MCIPD qualified with highly developed communication, teamwork, influencing and project management skills, Beth is a fantastic team player.
