STRATEGIC COMMS DIRECTOR

Graeme joined the team in 2013, following a 20 year career as a journalist in national and regional media. He worked across news, features and sport desks in some of the toughest newsrooms in the land - The Sun, Daily Mail, Daily Record and Manchester Evening News.

He was Democracy's first Head Of News, where he helped shape the agency's news focus and output for all clients.

That position has evolved into a Comms Director role where Graeme works with our clients and our internal teams to find the best stories and where to tell them for maximum impact.

Working at Democracy has taken Graeme to Michelin starred restaurants, the Munich Beer Festival, Wimbledon, Twickenham and even on to the sofa at Newsround! When not in the office, you’ll find him pounding the streets training for his next running race (Mcr Marathon 2026 a lifetime highlight), coaching his grassroots football team or in the gym.
