Jennifer has more than 20 years’ experience of leading proactive and reactive strategic communications campaigns for clients in the UK and around the world.
She started Democracy in 2008, creating a new type of PR agency, equipped to embrace the emerging digital and social opportunity and committed to embracing what was to follow.
Jennifer is a thought leader in the evolving role of PR led communications today – her straight talking approach has engaged audiences at search conferences including Think Visibility, panel debates on the future of journalism in the digital age and an appearance on BBC Breakfast.
Disciplined in approach, dedicated to discovery and focused on results, she drives Democracy forward. Shaping the proposition of the agency today with a keen eye on how it will evolve tomorrow and beyond.
She is fiercely protective of the culture of the agency. She selects team members carefully, identifying those who are outstanding problem solvers, strong at English and naturally able to form relationships with contacts quickly. With everyone pulling in the same direction, the emphasis is placed on learning and discovery. The culture is supportive, rewarding and unpretentious.
Jennifer works with the senior team at Democracy to develop campaign strategy and oversee delivery for every single client. As an owner managed business, the buck stops with her – so she makes sure every piece of work delivers against the high standards of the business.
She has worked in London and Manchester, heading a combination of consumer and leisure accounts – from toys and games to alcohol and sweets.
