THE BASICS:

  • Hours: A flexible 37.5-hour working week. We aim to work in the office for three days per week, but keep a close eye on government guidelines.
  • Holidays: 22 days, plus an extra day for every year you’re with us

Account Director

We are looking for an Account Director to join our team at Democracy, working across both our B2C accounts and B2B offering. As Account Director, you will act as the key point of contact for clients, advising them on the best activity to achieve their objectives. You will also take responsibility for the day-to-day management of client accounts, working closely with the all agency team to ensure all activity is completed to a high standard and to deadline.

The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships with clients in order to understand their objectives and to be able to provide creative solutions and deliver these solutions using strong presentation skills. Additionally, you should have experience in managing people.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Uncover client’s needs, desires and objectives and craft a creative solution that aligns with these needs
  • Clearly communicate client’s objectives with colleagues and drive development of timely solutions
  • Provide strategic analysis and counsel to help shape client’s business

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years of experience in PR
  • Proven ability in growing accounts and building client relationships
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in managing people and teams
  • Possess a creative mindset

Social Media Manager

Are you a Social Media Manager with an innate ability to create scroll-stopping content with viral appeal?
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and organised Social Media Manager who can strengthen our existing social team and elevate our strategies to build deeper connection with our audiences and maximise return for our clients.

If you have solid experience in delivering rich social media campaigns and understand how social media can be used to strategically build brands, create attention and generate action from audiences on a large scale, then we want to hear from you.

For this role you need to have:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in both paid and organic social
  • Experience managing and owning paid social budgets
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A strong eye for detail
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Be able to translate thoughts into briefs
  • The ability to deliver against deadlines
  • Relevant industry qualifications

Office Manager

We’re looking for an experienced office manager to support our team and manage our lovely office on Beech Road in Chorlton.

You will need to have admin experience, a ‘can do’ attitude and a proven track record in this type of role. No two days will be the same; from ordering stationery one minute to supporting the team with a product launch, being the go-to person for all office-related queries or managing team social events.

Client Advocacy Exec

Looking for your first step into PR? Then step right up. In this entry level position you’ll be trained on the basics on everything that is PR – from how to write good copy, how to pitch to a journalist, how to evaluate campaigns in a meaningful way and how to work collaboratively to make content fly. You don’t need a degree, but you do need the right attitude.
